What I find funny is that the main antagonist (the son) in this ep is level 6 demon emperor while the father is level 8 demon emperor they are only 2 levels apart lol..

At the end mc leveled up to level 9 golden immortal.. still black hole and decide to venture out.

Yea I think its more as even if he get more powerful, there will always be more stronger opponents. Since Uncle Lan said that the suitors, or the person that want to take Li'er as his women is even more powerful, then the demon guys we was having a difficult time fight'n off. Like sometimes you just want a MC who is OP off the jump, but its more compelling to know MC can get his ass whooped, like he still got long ways to go I don't know how long, but to reach his ultimate goal he still going have to climb them heavenly stairs, fight'n more powerful opponents along the way including the guy who want to take Li'er. Qin Yu going have to get even more powerful then ever, also to find his bros. They should give him a training montage, and its been a couple of years now, but he gotten exponentially more powerful to fight off them arrogant demon douches, or rather any godly immortal that challenges him. Like Qin Yu is still weak compared to them if he need, not 1, not 2, not 3 well you get the point to come to his aid in battle. However he always had some help in battle so its not new, but he always manage to hold his own you know.
